Since 1957, our company has been a cornerstone of maritime safety in the Río de la Plata, establishing itself as the pilotage company with the longest-standing experience in the region. Our team is formed by 51 Captains, with extensive command experience on a wide range of vessels and an average of 12 years of professional service.
This combination of reliability, expertise, and deep local knowledge guarantees safe and dependable navigation for all types of vessels, regardless of their draft or class, throughout our river’s waters.
Services
The company provides pilotage services in the Río de la Plata, covering navigation between the Recalada Pilot Boarding Area and the Zona Común.
Boarding points 
Pilots operating in the Río de la Plata guide and advise vessels through waters known for their shallow depths and shifting shoals while maintaining the safest navigation through such complex geography.
By applying local regulations and expert navigational knowledge, they ensure safe passage and assist the captain during critical maneuvers, protecting the vessel, its crew, and the marine environment.
Pilot Boat
We guarantee the continuity and safety of pilotage operations, with operational bases supporting pilot transfers at both Recalada and Zona Común.
We operate with pilot boats designed for reliability under all conditions. They are equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems and powerful engines to ensure secure and efficient navigation.
Our highly trained and experienced crews guarantee fast and precise maneuvers, always upholding the highest safety standards for both the vessel and our pilots.

Certifications
Since 1997, we have been the only company in the Río de la Plata holding a permanent membership in the International Maritime Pilots' Association (IMPA). This distinction not only endorses our operational excellence but also positions us as an active member of a key global entity in maritime safety, directly participating in major regulatory milestones, such as the amendment of SOLAS Regulation V /23.
We maintain an ongoing presence at international congresses and forums, ensuring compliance with the most demanding global standards of training and proficiency. This commitment translates directly into the safety of our operations.
Our pilots are officially certified by the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA) — the sole maritime and navigation safety authority in the country. This certification ensures that every maneuver is carried out with competence and safety, guaranteeing the protection of your vessel, crew, and the environment.
To ensure the highest reliability, our services and processes are audited and certified annually by DNV Business Assurance.
